New Product Commercialisation - Senior Manager

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and update the local product commercialization and launch plan (launch and initial ICP inclusive of budget)
  • Facilitate cross-functional alignment on product launch related topics and activities
  • Work with the Global and European product development/brand teams to ensure the affiliate has all required information and materials, and support the affiliate’s needs in Global/European forums
  • Manage select specific commercialization projects required for launch


  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • At least 7 years Pharmaceutical experience (preferably in brand management and/or launch excellence)
  • Consistent track record of success
  • At least 1 full launch experience (Neurology/CNS and/or Rare Disease areas will be a plus)
  • Sales methodology and sales technique knowledge
  • Rare disease experience is beneficial
  • Good written, oral, presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks; well-developed project management skills
  • Mandatory language skills: German (at least B2) and English

Additional Information:

This Position will be responsible for developing the affiliate cross-functional commercialization plans for products launches. It will moreover support the team through the execution of pre- and peri-launch activities. Working as a business partner for all divisions, the position will assure high quality and on time launches, in alignment with Global and European-level teams. With strong analytical skills, the Position will track and manage commercialization-related issues, and lead the team in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Based on lessons learned and best practices, the position will contribute to the continuous improvement of the launch excellence process. Additional time will be dedicated to managing specific commercialization projects required for launch.
